Woodcote House School Pre-Prep Opening September 2025

For some time Woodcote has been thinking of lowering their entry age to rising 5 and I am delighted to report they have just announced that from September 2025 they will be opening a new pre-prep.  This will start at reception class age and will be co-educational from this age.

 Woodcote is a lovely, small, family run school.  It has been in the same family for four generations and the current Headmaster is the nephew of the previous head and great-grandson of the founder.  His own daughter also attends Little Villagers.

 The school has very small classes and the lovely grounds and facilities offer children who attend the school a nurturing, caring and quality education.  As you know, I moved Little Villagers to our new location in the grounds of Woodcote 5 years ago and we have worked closely with the school throughout.  The pre-school children are very familiar with Woodcote as I hold my dance sessions in the hall each week as well as our Forest School within the beautiful grounds twice a week.  This arrangement ensures that your children feel very comfortable within the Woodcote School environment. 

 I am sure that Open days will be arranged in the coming months and the development of the building for reception will take place in the Spring but please do contact Woodcote if you would like to talk to them about your children finishing in Frogs and moving into Woodcote for reception.  The move from us to Woodcote will be seamless and we will work closely with the reception staff teachers to ensure a smooth transition for those children joining Woodcote. This is a very exciting new development for Woodcote.
